Dr.Gwillim was my glee club director as well as my band director at Montrose High School. My class of 1960 and prior. Oh my, the memories I still have! Funny as well as serious. Whenever I hear the songs, 'Oklahoma' and 'Smoke Gets In Your Eyes' I think of him. He was a positive addition to our school as well as my teen life. How blessed you are to have him in your life for such a long time. Numbers 6:24

The Gwillim. Family, May your loss be heavens gain and may God comfort you in the days ahead. I hope that you will find great comfort in the cherished memories that you have of the time spent with your father. I shall keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, James Mason

Dr. Gwillim was my Glee Club director back in 1956-58.
Just yesterday I went through the songs he 'coaxed' us through. I can still remember the words!
He was a joy to sing for!
Blessings and condolences.

Tom, I am sorry to hear of the loss your dad. I remember meeting "Alf" on only a couple occasions at the house on Durand St. However, I do remember him as kind gentleman. I pray for Peace and Blessings for you, Tammy and the kids.
