Granny I miss you so much, I think of you everyday. I remember our talks in your last days trying to prepare me for the day when you will pass. You DID live that Walt Disney life as you say.and you were a fighter to ur last day. I am thankful that you were my Granny, and even though my kids only known you for a short time they still talk about you with love..it helps sometimes when i want to call you to tell you I love you. I miss you terribly, you took me as I am, and you never stopped loving me..like I will never stop loving you. Now you can rest with gpa Norris and watch over us all from up above..i love you so very very much!! We love you very much!! Till we meet again!!

My mom and Darla were like Sisters! They grew up together and were each others maid of honor at their weddings. I cannot remember a time when Darla wasn't there and it is going to be hard to not see her again! I miss the Sundays when she would come with the Avon and I had made a fancy dessert that she enjoyed!! I hope she has found peace and comfort!! Darla, you will be missed by mom and the whole family!!

So very sad to hear of Darla's passing. My son Garret was fortunate to have Darla and Norris as fosterparents to both him and his birthmom Stephanie when he was just a toddler. They were bright spots in his young life. She will be missed.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. Darla touched the lives of so many children in such a positive way. My children are better people for having had her in their lives. We are better people for having known her.
