The most positive attitude ever........went on many 3rd shift patrol rides in that Flint PD cruiser that earned my respect of how dangerous a position these officers have. Virginia and Lyndsay.....Mr. Caterer will be missed.

I always had and continue to have the upmost respect for Curt. You will be missed my friend. What a great man. It's been an absolute pleasure.
We were fortunate to have met Curtis and his lovely wife Virginia, through our friends Myra and Rick James. When we visited them in Flushing, they always made us feel welcome. We will cherish our memories of our times together. You were a very special person and friend Curt. You will be dearly missed.
Met Curt many years ago at the Flushing Rifle and Pistol Club. He was a great guy. So sorry to hear of his passing. My sincerest condolences.
To Curt's Family: My deepest condolences. I had the pleasure of working with Curt, as an attorney, during his service as a member of Flint's finest, and for many years with Curt at his business.
Always a pleasure to be with, fun, professional, and just a really good guy. Thank you for sharing him with all of us. He loved his family, and it showed. God Bless.
Leslie, Melissa, Lindsay and Virginia - We are so very sorry for your loss. Wishing you peace during this difficult time, and comfort that he may always be close at heart. Love and prayers to you and your families.
I've known Curt since 1991 as we were competitors in the CanUsa Games (pistol shooting) We became the best of friends and would soon enjoy many happy times together with our spouses involved. So many wonderful / memorable events including his engagement to Virginia in Niagara Falls, vacations in Florida, trips to Vegas & Empire Bluffs. Curt became a special friend to many of our friends. His charm, humour and remarks about our Canadian Firearm Laws were abundant. Through our annual firearms competition between Flint P.D. and the Hamilton Police, I would always wish that just once I could score higher than Curt.....never happened. He was humble in victory and ensured our team ALWAYS had a great time when visiting Flint. We visited Curt & Virginia often over the years and enjoyed his turtle soup, everything he would make on the grill and his preserves. Curt facilitated MANY of our friendships within the Flushing community. Every Canadian he ever met, thought he was a wonderful guy. Our lives were enriched by his friendship. Curt will forever have a special place in our hearts, may he rest in peace. We love you Curt! Myra & Rick James
Dear Virginia, Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. We will miss his humor and his stories. We will always remember 22 and 71! God Bless! Kathy and Carl

Virginia, Lindsay and everyone: Way too soon for Curt's light to be gone. Our relationship was brief and long distance but Gordon always treated me like a son and Curt always felt like a brother to me. He was in my thoughts often. Our lives are all better and brighter for having him in them. I will take the Harley out for a spin tonight and hoist a glass to him and my memories of his smile and humor. Much love.

You were the best. RIP Ol' Sarge. Until we meet again.
We met Curt through Rick and Myra and found him to be a
great guy. Remembering Thanksgiving dinner at our house……Curt said, “I'll come over, but I'm doing the cooking”. Everybody was to keep clear and let him work his magic with that turkey! It is a great memory of the few times we were together. Virginia, we know you will have a lot of great memories of your life together and hope you will draw on those and your family for comfort in the days ahead and beyond. He will be missed.
