Mom , I am saddened to hear about "Dad " , I truly will miss him and always think of the two of you when i would see you at the store or somewhere. Gosh , you two reminded me of my Mom and Dad so much ... Your family were the first ones , aside from the Dikos's family to make us feel at home and accepted in Swartz Creek whe we moved up here from Texas . I respect the both of you and admire the family you two raised, a pretty big feat now these days. Again, my deepest sympathies to your family and all of you will be in our prayers .
I grew up with the Genovesi family. My heartfelt condolences to you all.

What a terrible loss to such a wonderful family. As a young child Joe and his family were our neighbors when we lived on Bergin street. What a time we had. Joe moved to Swartz Creek and I saw him once while I worked for a short while at GM. Didn't see Joe and Barb until a New Years eve party in the late 80s. They hadn't changed a bit but the kids seemed older. My wife and I transfered to Omaha, NE in 1992 and on to Kansas City in 1997 retiring in 2009. We have now moved back to the Fenton/Linden area and enjoying our family. I was just talking to my wife a few days ago about living next door to Joe and Barb who only had I think 3 or 4 kids at the time. Again we will keep the Genovisi family in our prayers as they are truly a wonderful family and Joe was certainly a fine husband and Father.
Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.
