For close to 20 years I called you Dad. You had so many great qualities in so many roles...as husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, friend...such an easy-going demeanor with everyone you came in contact with...sharing your knowledge, always cracking jokes... talented, compassionate man. I loved you, and you will be missed Dad. Hoping you'll send some love down to my garden. You taught me so much... My family loved you. Keep an eye on Mom from above. Send her a rainbow now and again...

Sad to lose such a great guy. My best goes out to Marilyn. I always had a good time listening to stories about Dale and my dad when they worked at the power company.

For so many years we have wondered where the McFarland's have been. We have so many fond memories of Dale and Marilyn and their sons from the beginning of our married lives. What a great family!! He touched so many lives. With great sadness--Gary and Roberta Hopkins
