Kirk Lewis

Everybody had the same feeling about your dad. A kind dedicated teacher and great man and a heck of a great typing teacher. Our class of '61 had a bunch who came up thru his class. I knew him even as a little girl when my dad worked for his dad at a welding shop on N. Saginaw St. His girls would go there to hang out & 'play' as I did. He was one of a kind.

My condolences to the Lewis family. I had Mr. Lewis for a typing teacher at Beecher High back in the fifties, have never forgotten him.

Often wondered what some of our teachers were doing after we left in 1956. Sorry I had to find out like this. Appears he had a loving life. Mr Lewis, was the BEST. Always happy, helpful,and always seem to have time to listen.He was my favorite teacher.
My deepest sympathy for his family and I am sure, many friends.

I had Mr. Lewis for typing at Beecher for 3 years. He was a very nice teacher, tough but fair. Sorry for your loss.
