I just learned of Rick's passing today. Had I known, I would have attended his funeral. Rick gave me my start as a repair tech in the amusement industry in 1991. I had lots of fun working with him, going to the auctions, and picking up new equipment from Cleveland Coin in Livonia. He even sent me to the Bally/Williams pinball repair seminars hosted at Cleveland Coin. Rick was quite a character....many fond memories. Watching him "manhandle" a pinball while playing was entertaining. We lost touch years ago and I regret not paying him a visit more often. Thanks Rick, for the entry into a career I enjoyed until the bottom fell out.
