Dear Friends and all Petersons,
today will bee the burial of Roy and we want to say to you, that our
feelings whole the day are with you.
We must state, that we have lost one of our best friends, who lets a
painful hole behind him. He was so a brave man in WW II and we ever must
have respekt for his behaviour in the Hunsrück area after he was shot down.
We also think on the journeys in the States, on the evenings on the camp
grounds, when the girls did cook and when we talked with a cool beer in
our hands and later we had our rustic meals. To all this he gave us his
atmosphere.
Also we think on the mosquito evenings in the West Hill Garden, when the
beer in our hands could not hold back the insects.
Unforgettable when he crept with me through the old B-17 whilest our
last visit with you!
We miss him and will behold him always in our memory.
Sorry for my unskilled English, it is so difficult to express feelings
in such a situation, but we think you know what we mean.
And let us say still this: we miss you and were happy to see you here
some time.
Kisses to you all and we are with you when Roy will given to the earth!
Helmut and Uli
