CHRISLER, JAMES ARTHUR (Jimmy) Cancer took Jimmy, age 55, on Sunday May 18, 2014. His parents were at his side. Born in Flint Michigan, August 5, 1958 to Shryl L. Fowler and Glen S. Chrisler. Jimmy graduated from Swartz Creek High School in 1976. He worked for T.T.I. (Training & Treatment Innovations) in Oxford, Michigan as a Peer Choices Advocate for the disabled, where he has left many true friends. Last wishes for personal Hugs & Love carried out as a "Celebration for James" took place. Unfortunately, Jimmy slipped away seven hours before. Cremation has taken place. No other services until this summer 2014. He leaves LOVE and memories to special friends Loren Thomas, Daniel Schmier, Michael Bryant, Michelle Dickinson, Sue Griffo, Parents Shryl and Roy Fowler, Sr. (Lennon). Siblings: Glenda Thomas, Brooks Lennon, Nancy and James Shivlie (Lake City). Dennis and Connie Chrisler (Swartz Creek) David Chrisler (South Port, NC), Roy Fowler Jr. (NC) Randy Fowler (Bloomingdale), Rocky and Mary Fowler (Gaines), Robin Fowler (Swartz Creek) with MUCH more family missing Him. Jimmy's dearly loved his family first, friends, birds, wildflowers, nature, computer technology, and Spike his loyal but mean cat. A Great tribute to James would be to scatter wildflower seeds EVERYWHERE in his memory .

I truly miss you James and so enjoyed working with you at TTI. Your warmth and genuine smile, your quick wit, made you so special. You had a zest for life even during your health struggles. I will truly miss you forever.

The last time I saw Jimmy he told me that no one ever dies, they just move on to a different place. I'm sure he is still the same loving and loyal friend to someone else there that he was to me. We miss out on the hugs since he has moved on, but think of the joy he is bringing to others. Such a great soul!

Miss the person you were Jimmy. Iremember when you would babysit for me, My house was always trashed, blankets all over the yard. Kids filthy dirty. But they were oh so happy, if they had a choice they always wanted you to babysit them. Great memories, and a great loss. Go quickly to your reward, which you earned many times over. forever a part of my life xo

Jimmie, we are so lucky we became friends over the last few years. We will always treasure the times we spent together, especially talking about naughty naughty things in Dan and Mike's living room over a few Miller Lites. We'll never forget your "cereal bowql" comment, and asking Deb how her orchid was doing the last time we saw you. Also, we're so fortunate you were able to make it to our wedding on October 13th, 2013. We love you and will NEVER forget you. Rest well, our friend. We love you.
