BEEBE, JOYCE ANN
Joyce Ann Beebe, of Apollo Beach, FL, formerly of Flint, MI, age 86, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2013 in Florida. Per Joyce's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00PM, Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Calvary Community Church, 1201 W. 12th Street, Flint, MI 48507. Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. The family will receive visitors from 1:00 PM until the time of service at the church. Joyce was born in Flint, MI, on June 9, 1927, daughter of the late Clyde and Lilah (Chase) McDonald. She married Wayne Beebe on October 12, 1946. He preceded her in death on February 11, 1988. She was a graduate of Flint Central in 1945. Joyce was a member of the Red Hats, T.O.P.S. in Flint and Florida and the Umbrella Club. She enjoyed line dancing, bowling and bingo. Joyce was well known by her family and friends for her "off key" singing of Happy Birthday. Joyce is survived by her daughters, Linda Sordyl and Candace (Rick) Healy; four grandchildren, Kim (John) McCalla, Pam (Pat) Portell, Richelle and Luke Healy; two great-grandchildren, Jack and Charlie McCalla; sister, Jean Kanizai; brothers, Wayne, Delbert and Allen McDonald. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Newman, Kathryn Lovegrove, Janet Hicks, Phyllis McDonald; brothers, Wallace, Doug, Bruce and Danny McDonald.
