I knew Keith through his son Brandon. My son Shawn Zawodni and Brandon have been the closest of friends since being suite mates at Ferris. Shawn has accompanied the Spanglers on their hunting excursions and it was a fantastic experience for him. Brandon is one of the kindest, most thoughtful people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He is a true renaissance man. His loyalty is unquestionable. His intellect, curiosity and graciousness are impressive. It is my suspicion that all this could be said of Keith. That Brandon learned from example how to be a consummate Gentleman from his dear Dad. May you rest in peace Keith knowing that your legacy is making the world a better place for us all. My heart felt condolences and kindest wishes to the Spangler family. You are in my prayers. Kate Thomas Zawodni (Shawn Zawodni's Mum)

Growing up Keith and I had lots of fun and I have great memories. As we became teens we both loved to dance and wanted him to take me to my prom so we could dance but he said no way we were cousins. I loved him like a brother and will miss him. RIP my dear friend and cousin.
