age 82, died Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Heartland Healthcare Center-Briarwood. Funeral service was held at 11 a.m.
Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Dale Lewis officiated. Burial Evergreen Cemetery with a military graveside service under the auspices of VFW Chevrolet Motor Post #3087 Honor Guard. Those desiring may make contributions for the wishes of the family. Terry, April we are so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. He was a tremendous example to so many. He was the kind of man I would have been proud to call father. May his memories ease the pain and bring you comfort. He will be greatly missed.
