Mr. Willey was my teacher in 1983-1984 for Wars class. He was such a wonderful, knowledgable, and inspiring instructor.
He was one of the teachers you don't forget.
God bless your family.

It sounds like a broken record at this point, but I had Coach Will in the classroom and on the field. He was a huge influence on me as I went on the get a Bachelors in history and play football beyond high school. I am now coaching myself and have young boys who share my love for football, that grew and was nurtured by Coach Will. I always meant to go back to Clio to thank him but never did. Hopefully, someday I will be able to let him know how he effected me, like he did so many others. God Bless coach and my condolences to his family.

My prayers to the family of Mr. Willey.I had him for wars in high school and also was his letter carrier for over 3 years. He always said its a great day for walk. He had a great personality and Mrs. Willey was always so sweet. My son plays varsity at Clio and I was able to see him receive that lifetime achievement at homecoming just 2 weeks ago. Awesome to leave such a legacy to his loved ones.

I remember Coach Willey as a fine football coach when Mike and Charlie and I played for him in 1967 and 1968. You could tell he loved the game, but also that he loved how football helped boys become men. He was also my history teacher. He instilled in me a life-long interest in history (to the point of majoring in college). Clio was a great place to grow up because of men and teachers like Loren Willey.

My heartfelt condolences goes out to the family of Loren Willey. Mr. Willey was my high school football coach. I learned a lot from him. I did have him as my World History Class, but my sons did and they loved him. I'm sure he will be missed by his former students and former players. He was a great coach and educator. My prayers goes out to his family and friends.
