Mike was everything a sibling could hope for. He was always there for me, in the good times and especially in the not so good times. I will miss him deeply.

We love you Uncle Mike. You are forever in our hearts and memories. We will treasure the gifts you gave use over the years, the coins for Jenna and Rachel, the paintings and the thoughtful gestures you made to stay connected with us. May your gentle soul live on in the rest of us.
Love,
Julie, Pete, Jenna and Rachel

Mike was like a member of our family, being my father's best friend- he attended our family Christmas celebration every year. When I was young, Mike was designing toys and the first memory that I have was of him. He showed up one year with a giant bag of star wars toys that he had designed. Despite my father protesting, Mike had me open them all up and play with them. He was a big kid, with great corny jokes- and easily my favorite surealist artist. We love you Mike- the world will not be the same withou you.

It's been a long time from St. John through Davison to the present. I was always amazed at Mike's artistic talents. Love and prayers to the surviving family. Cecelia Kreiner Kirkpatrick

wow Michael, all your friends in Davison will miss you, i tried calling as many of our classmates as i could, all were shocked, proly cuz we are all your age. i remember serving on the altar at church with you, and we were in cub scouts together, and all the fun (LOL) we had with the Nuns. i had such a hard time with my Latin so i could serve Mass and i think your brother Phillip helped me with that, but it's ok cuz i was in the seminary and failed Latin there LOL. RIP buddy and all the classmates from 1967, and 68 will mioss you. with tears in my eyes i bid you farewell.

The last time I saw Mike was at his wedding in Cincinatti but we were close as youngsters. He lived just down Lapeer St. We attended the Woodstock festival together back in the day. So sad.

I am sorry to read this morning of Michael's passing. Enjoyed working with him at Meijer and also hanging out at karaoke at the Irish Pub years ago. He had a great sense of humor and was very talented. He will be missed.

Goodbye my old friend. We shared many great times back when we wore younger men's clothes.
