I had the great honor of being caregiver for Shirley since April 2013. I wish I had known her and had many more years, however I couldn't have loved her any more. What a wonderful woman, and a true blessing for me to have met her!! Miss her so much!! Love you Shirley, Patty

My Aunt Shirley was the "fun aunt". she always loved playing with us kids and we loved her. Then when I had my kids, they got to play with her, too! I can still hear her and her brothers (my Dad and uncle)telling stories of their childhood every time we all got together. Lots of laughs and memories. I will miss you dearly, Aunt Shirley. You are truly a classic. <3

I worked with Shirley, at Hamady's, for about 16 years and she was a delight!! She could be a curmudgeon and on the other hand, make you laugh til you dropped to the floor...I will always remember Shirley fondly. Am sorry for you loss.

Shirley was many things to a lot of people but most of all a good friend. She always had a smile and a joke to lighten the day. Thanks for being a part of my life.

Shirley, keep those saints and angels laughing just as you did your earthly friends. Your warmth and humor are a great loss in a world in need of such disappearing gifts.

I enjoyed my years working with Shirley at Midwest Wholesale Foods....she had a very "dry" sense of humor. I will always remember Shirley's kindness and understanding upon my return to work after my husband's death in 1994. My prayers are with the family at this time. Beth Bravender Wachterhauser

So sorry to hear of your loss. Shirley was older than me so I don't have a lot of memories of her. I remember that she was kind to me. And she was friendly. Hold on to those good memories. Praying for your family!
