I played in the Ultimate Frisbee games with Al for about 11 years. One learns about a person's character when playing competitive sports. Al was always a gentleman and a good sport both on and off the field. He was lots of fun to be around. He was the most incredible athlete I've ever known, but it is for his good character that Al has so much standing with me. I never saw Al get mad in a mean way; he just played harder. And when Al played hard he was so good that the other 10 players on the other team didn't have a chance. If they made any points at all, it was by accident. It was a privilege to know Al and I am deeply sorry that he is gone.

Al was a good friend. I knew him at AFTAC and was very impressed. He will be missed.

Al was the whole package, he was a true and loyal family man, great mentor, excellent in all sports, and best of all.. A true friend. I'm so blessed to have known him for the 16 years that I have been at Northrop. Al and I played lots of ball together and what a sight.. He was an amazing athelete, and always an upbeat to the team.. We miss him dearly, but know that he's done his deed and living though all of us that he touched. Thought and prayers to the Walker family. We are here for you.

We just got word about Al's passing. We are so sorry to hear about it. Our boys (Landon & Mason) were in several basketball leagues with Aaron & Christian, and he was an awesome coach & parent. It was always a pleasure to see the family at the games. He will surely be missed by all. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Lisa and the boys during this incredibly difficult time.

On this side of heaven, we will not be able to understand why tragic events happen to wonderful people. My prayer is that this loss of someone who had such a positive impact on so many people will cause those of us who are still living to re-examine our lives and relationships. That we will live such that when we are no longer here in body that some of these same comments can be made about us. That we will live a life from which love and encouragement flows. I believe that Alfred could live such a life because he knew the God who created him. Lisa, Aaron, and Christian have lost a wonderful person. What a blessing to have known and lived life with such a man!

Al was such a memorable person. I worked with him at Northrop Grumman and he was always encouraging and inspired me to enjoy what life has to offer. Lisa and sons of Al, you should be ever so proud, Al left a mark of greatness with his name on it. I feel privileged to have known Al.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Words can't express the sympathy we feel for a great man who has touched many lives in this community because of his positive attitude, kindheartedness and overall good nature. Coach Al was an inspiration to JT and had a great impact on his life. He will truly be missed.

My prayers go to Al's Family for their loss. Just find out today and I am really sorry to learn about it. Al was a great person. I worked with him at Northrop Grumman a while back and he was allways smiling and with a great attitude. I also enjoyed a lot playing basketball with him, and even though his athletic abilities were so much better than mine he always encorage you and made it always fun to be around him. Great friend and person. Al, may you rest in peace

What a wonderful human being and great role model as a husband, father, brother, uncle, and community leader! Alfred will be missed forever, but his spirit lives on in the heart of Lisa and lives of his sons.
