To the family of Alfred, sending love from his high school alma mater and below is our school song, he was a top athlete and loved by all. his dedication to family and children was also evidenced when we had our first class reunion for our class in 33 years and he couldn't make it because his son had a game. We all joked about it because all of our kids were adults. i say this because he was selfless, sacrificed being with his classmates and chose his family and kids he was coaching. We missed him then, , and will forever miss him. Our class song says it all. Hail, oh hail to dear Fort Campbell
School of faith and pride;
Loyal friends of thee forever
Always by your side.

Proudly standing past and future
Looking towards the sky;
We'll remember you forever
Dear Fort Campbell High

Our prayers go out to the Walker family. Al was a High School Classmate that was mature beyond his years. He brought smiles to the Fort Campbell community as a young man and continued that tradition for the balance of his life. He led a life that should be celebrated.

Thank you Coach Al for making a difference in the lives of so many players, for taking time with my son, for setting an example to so many boys / young men in how to be a man. I know they will remember the lessons you taught them long after they stop playing the game. And thank you for serving our country. May you rest in peace.

Dear LIsa, Aaron, Christian, Wayne and extended family,
In this crazy world we live in there are very few things that remain constant, but we could always count on Coach Al to be upbeat and positive. He was my son's coach for only one season, but he made a huge impact on him! Luke always says that Coach Al was the best coach he ever had. There are so few people that personify everything "good". Al Walker was one of these people and I respected him so much! Some people just have HUGE personalities and touch so many lives. It is still hard to believe the giant has fallen.... Our entire family will miss him, his smile and encouraging ways.

I thank the Walker family for sharing Alfred with my son and many other young men. He was one of the best there was. I will always remember how he would always say I have to look out for my little men.. Going to miss you!

To Al's family,

Sorry for your loss and it is hard for me to accept the loss as a friend, mentee, and a coworker. I have known him for a while but I really got to work and know him in the last couple of years. I have seen him handle tough situations with a smile and he was always the voice for others who were not represented. He would always encourage others and yes, sometimes through trash talk during a game of ultimate frisbee or basketball. He has mentored me in several occasions when he had no stake in the situation and that is the type of man he was...always helpful, calculated, passionate with a team vision. Please accept my sincerest condolences and we are here for u guys.

Thanks Coach Al for giving your special time to my son Cordell and all the Eau Gallie Boyz. I hope there is a big Baseball field in heaven for you! My prayers and thoughts to Christian, Aaron and the Walker family in your time of a great loss. May God Bless you all in this time of sorrow.......
