Alan was our wonderful, giving, human, generous, and brimming over with hospitality cousin. His father and Rae Morris Landis' father were brothers. We are comforted by the fact that he was able to pass peacefully with his family around him. We only wish that we could have been there as well. Mardi and family: we love you and we will always remember Alan for the gentle and loving person that he was.

I was Mardi's roommate when she met Al at U of Fl...They were a beautiful couple who enjoyed doing so many wonderful activities together. Al was an engineer, played beautifully in a band and had the most melodic singing voice ever! My husband and I had the pleasure of watching Mardi and Al dance together..What talent!!!. He will be sorely missed and will never be replaced..Peace, my friend!!
