Our son & I started going to this shop when we moved here from Miami 18 years ago, and has been a treat ever since. Our son has moved away but I can attribute much of his success as a fine young man to this community; Mutter's, in a hard to explain way, is one of those positive influences, helping teach him to be a responsible man in this confusing world. Personally, this immigrant loved his Italian jokes, partially because John was even better at joking about himself. He clearly loved his family, us patrons, & was the kind of man's-man rare any more. May God bless him and his loved ones. Sorry I was out of town for the service.

I loved going to see John and taking him Deer meat. He was so easy to talk to and cared for people

The kids so enjoyed going to the barber shop not only to see their papa(BOB) but uncle Bill And John. He used to tease all of them, and annoy Becki by calling her Bucky Lynn instead of Becki Lynn. joseph usually got his hair cut from papa but John did a couple of times too. and of course the lolypops I would say one and john would say take a handful, you can eat all. thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. love to all.
