Words can not describe the friendship we knew. I am saddened with your passing but I choose to celebrate your life and not mourn your passing. You were a true friend Larry and I do miss the days of the BBS's in Brevard. Greasyman, fair winds and following seas my friend.
Larry, What is there to say? Through all the years and everything that came with them, I guess the only words that really fit are "Thank you" for everything you did, the things you actively did and the things that you did without realizing you did them..
Your passing was such a shock, Larry...I remember those late nights talking to you and some other great people on Fantasia before I moved to Florida. You will be sorely missed. ~~ "Killer Queen"
His light will shine forever?
Because of my grief and learning acceptance, I did not log on to sign this until tonite...My heart still breaks as I come to terms with this...I pray daily for the pain to ease...for me, for daddy, for Joy and the kids...I wish with all my heart that this family heals and learns to live without my brother...life goes on and so must we...till we meet again dear brother...
To The Robedeau family,
Sorry for the loss of your loved one, My husband worked with him at jaguar. We send our sympathy.
Larry, I never thought I would be writing this, but God had a plan that we don't know. You have like a member of my family for so long that I felt you were like one of my children. The many conversations we had, the many laughs and the sympathetic ear we gave to each other to just listen to each others problems and the great times during the WWE pay per views. You will be missed greatly for all of this. Rest peacefully in your new life. I won't say goodbye, I will just say until we meet again.
Larry, a cousin so far away, I am sadden to here that you have left us so soon.
I am sure you have joined the rest our family and friends in the after life. We will sure miss you
Goodbye my friend.... hold a spot for me on that barstool, right by you, Ted and Greg... 'cause when I get there, there's a party to be had!
Larry was a great man who meant a lot to me and my family. He was always at all the Calavetta/Robedeau family gatherings for holidays and such. It won't be the same without him. It was fun talking to him about all the latest electronics or silly music videos from the 80s. He use to always hang out with me and my mom during all the WWE pay per views. He was a good guy and luckly he left a little piece of his personality in his kids and wife. So he won't go forgotten. O' and if you want to see one of the videos that me and him use to laugh out look up on youtube Yello: Oh Yeah. :0) Its the song from Ferris Buller's Day Off movie. Anyway love and miss you and hope your having fun driving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle down the streets of heaven.
Larry has been and will continue to be a huge party of the Calavetta family. From his love of blowing up the Drakes house on 4th of July, to his love for dragons and wrestling. Larry will always be remembered as a hard worker, a caregiver to his immediate family, a faithful husband, and a loving father. I know you watch over all of us in a much better place, but it is hard to see you leave our lives so early. I will make sure your family is well taken care of on this physical world, and the memories of you will continue to shine bright in our family forever more. May you enjoy your new life in Heaven!
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved Lawrence. May the "God of all comfort" (2Corin.1:3,4)be with you and yours during this most difficult time.
Larry, aka Greasey to those who met/knew him from Fantasia BBS back in the days before the Internet as we know it, was a very likable and funny guy. His 'straight man' delivery cracked me up before he would even finish the story. I will miss his wit and his smile. May God hold you and your family close, and give them peace. Whitefire
Will never forget you brother looking forward to the party in the afterlife where we can relive all the fun we had down here on earth.
