I would like to send my sympathy to the family of my good friend and AC - Hank Spino. I spent many years with Hank in the USAF and he saved my life and the life of the entire crew on one occasion. My wife and I stopped to see Hank and Tracy whenever we were near Melbourne and we saw him each year at the 98th ARS reunions until Tracy passed away. He will be sorely missed - he was a great pilot, a great patriot and a great man.

I would like to send sincere sympathy to the family of my good friend and AC. He has been missed at our 98th ARF reunions the past few years, but certainly not forgotten. My wife and I stopped to visit Hank and Tracey each time we were in the area and always enjoyed our time together. I flew with Hank for several years as a Boom Operator and on at least one occasion he saved our aircraft from disaster. He was great pilot and a great man. Tom Tartamella (Tarty)

Our deepest sympathy to the family. I flew with Col. Spino as his flight engineer in the 98th ARS, Lincoln, Neb. He was a great pilot and a true American. I cherish the time I flew with him as a crew member..God Bless...Eddie & Gracie Stough, Waco, Texas

Mr. and Mrs. Spino were two of the most hospitable people I've ever known. Their door was always open, and their kids' friends were their friends. Heaven is an even brighter place now.
