At age 68, I remember reading the magazines series as a child, then began collecting the books for my children, and am now continuing the collection for my granddaughters (we have over 100 total books). 3 generations of great reading! Thank you to the entire Berenstain family!

When my daughter was little I used to read her the Berenstain Bears every day ... she loved those books!!! They were/ are so full of positive messages. I saved the books I had, fixed them up as best as I could and passed them to my niece.

Growing up my older sister and I often read these books together. Reading the Berenstain Bears books with my sister is one of the fondest memories I have of my childhood. My sister is now pregnant and I decided I was going to throw her a Berenstain Bears baby shower which is how I came across this obituary today. These books are amazing and I am sorry for your loss, they have helped shape who I am and I know they will have an impact on my niece or nephew in a few months!!
