LARRY L. HOUGH, 79, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. Born in Rural Indiana, Larry worked as a inspector with Navistar for 34 years, retiring in 1995. He was a member of South Wayne Baptist Church; a U.S. Air Force Korean War veteran from 1952 to 1960; member of American Legion Post 277; lifetime member of NRA, National Muzzle Loading Rifle Associations; lifetime member of Scottish Rite, Shriner, Lodge 279 F & A.M. in Fairland, Ind., Indianapolis 500 Shrine Club, F.O.E.; U.S.A.C. Official; Ky Colonel; Tecumseh Lodge, life member of Motorcycle Association; Past President of Murat Ky. Colonel Shrine Club; past commander of son's of Civil War Union Veterans; worked 15 years at Kelley Automotive as a dispatcher, Indy Racing League Official. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy A. Hough of Fort Wayne; daughters, Laura (Dustin) Myers and Cynthia Bender, both of Fort Wayne and Joyce (Joe) Winstel of Fla.; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents, Paul R. and Marjorie Hough; and sons, Shawn Tieman Hough and Kevin Hough. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013, at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Frank Sitcler officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
