Uncle Rollie is missed by all of his nieces and nephews too — all six of us (the only child thing is popular in the Beane family). He was always jovial, generous and wicked sarcastic, which is the highest compliment where we come from. Best of all, I got to see him pick on my own dad during every visit to Newington. Rol, it was great celebrating with you one last time at the house on Christmas. Who knows — maybe we will do party snacks and wine (and deviled eggs) in your honor again next year. Love you lots! Bernadette Gunn loves you too.
Dear Deborah and Family,
I'm so sad to hear of Rollie's passing. You always think that our Newington treasures will last forever and then in one blink they are gone. Rollie will be missed greatly by many of us. I wish I had a chance to get to know you Deborah. You sound like a great person. It was always a pleasure to see the little things that you added to the porch and house to dress up Rollie's environment or to see you sitting on the porch. Try to remember all the fun things. Rollie was treasured and so are you!
To Kathy, Norman, and Susan, hang in there. It is never easy to lose a brother and I feel your pain. Rollie will be missed but your memories will keep him alive for many years to come.
My condolences go out to Debbie & family. Always remember the fun times you had together. In our younger years, us Newington kids played football. We'd pass the ball to Rollie so we could tackle him. Rollie laughed & laughed. I'll always treasure the fun times we had. Life was simpler back then. Rest in peace, Rollie. Sincerely, Alan Thomas
My deepest sympathy to Debbie, Kathy, Norman and Susie. Rollie was a special part of my life and I will never forget the happy times I spent with him. He was always there to listen to me and never, ever treated me as the "bothersome little sister" of LouAnn. I am honored to have known Rollie and I am happy to know that he is at peace now and no longer suffering.
The Burnham Family sends their deepest sympathy. We all shared many happy times with Rollie.
Paul will be missed by many. He was my favorite customer at TA (Buckhorn Family Rest) for many years. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
We will see you on the other side Rollie. In the mean time you will be missed. And try to behave yourself!
Deb, Kathy, Norman and Suzie
I was truly sadden to hear of Rollie's passing. But I am comforted to know he is in a better place. I will see you at the memorial service on Saturday Jan 5, 2012.
Beane family God can be a comforter and a refuge during times of distress. (Psalm 68:2) Please accept my condolences.
So sorry for your loss.
I've know Rollie for over 50 years growing up in Newington. He was a great guy.
I am so sorry for Rollie's passing. I knew him years ago when he would be at Young's in Durham. We always shared a special smile since we share the same birthday. I know he's smiling down on all of his friends and family. Rest at peace!
Deb and Family-
I am shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Paul's passing. He was a very special man, and I will miss him. Deb, you were one of the most loving and supportive family members I've seen in a long time. God bless you both.
My sincere and heartfelt condolences, along with prayer go out to the family and all affected.
I grew up across the street from the Beanes. Remember how kind Rollie was to all the Gemler kids when we were at a Weeks' cottage on Great Bay. Susie, Kathy and Norman-- I'm so sorry for your loss.
Deb my heart goes out to you.It was an honor to have met you and Paul. We laughed and cried, and now it is with a sad heart I send my sympothy to you. Take care.
Bean family, my condolences. I had the pleasure of meeting Paul when I worked at Radio Shack and then had the honor of seeing his recovery from his stroke. He will be missed by all!
Hello Deb and Family, I'm extremly shocked and saddened to here of the passing of Paul. I had a chance to get close to him when he was at Clipper Harbor. He was very special to me. I had always hoped he would recover. I guess the big guy must have a need for another good man up there. My many wonderful thoughts of him will always be fresh in my mind. Some people you meet you never forget. I owe you so many thanks Paul.
We were so very sorry to read of Rollie's passing. May you find comfort in the loving memories you all have of him.
Although we will miss you and Nan every day, we are glad she was there to wrap her arms around you once again; to help take you home. Thank you for the special memories you gave to each of us.
Kathy, Norman and Susie
