Linda was always such a bright light in everyone's life that she will live on in our hearts forever. I've known Linda since she started teaching. We worked together in different schools and school systems and I had great admiration and respect for her as a teacher. Her love of reading, writing and learning new things was extraordinary and she shared that openly with children and adults alike. I know she loved her last years teaching in Machias and living in Roque Bluffs, Maine. We talked often on the phone and visited whenever she came to New Hampshire. For those of us left, we are saddened by the loss of her physical presence, but know that she is at peace with her true love in a place where she always wanted to be. Linda was a very special person and that's how all of us will remember her.

Dearest Linda! An outstanding educator who always was encouraging to each of her students, touching so many lives! She gave so many of her students the wonderful gift of a life-long love of learning! She was a dear friend--beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. Dearest Linda. Dearest friend. My thoughts and prayers are with Michelle, Joe and family at this difficult time. Sandy Meyer

In celebrating Linda's life I am reminded how grateful I am to her for the amazing legacy she has left behind in her beautiful daughter Michelle. Michelle and Joe, along with their cherished daughters Erin and Shannon make the world a better place every day. Linda was so proud of them and is surely shining down on them with love and pride from above. Thank you, Linda, for leaving this lovely and lasting legacy.
