My family lived at the end of 35 Bagdad Rd. right next to Bill and Jeanne. In fact, I "went missing" from our house when I was 5 years old, only to be found by my parents scarfing up clams at Bill and Jeanne's dining table. She was like a second mother to me, and I can't remember how many times my folks and the Crandalls exchanged perfect ears of sweet corn, other veggies, NH dug clams, or the crabs caught in the Bay (that my Mom spent hours picking but were like gold). It is truly the end of an era for the end of Bagdad Rd.! He will be missed, both him and Jeanne, but remembered strongly and fondly.

Uncle Bill will be missed, but the memories are deep. My uncle Bill and aunt Jeane would stop in New York after their trips out west. They would tell of their adventures fishing, hunting and even some not so good. I remember one in particular where their car and belongings were distroyed by fire, but that didn't deter their trip they just re-equiped and went on. They always had their springer spaniels with them and even bred them at one time. He finaly went to be with my aunt Jeane who he missed so much. God bless you Bill and Jeane we will always think of you and miss you. Your nephew Richard
