I was expecting my first child when this happened. Being from San Francisco, I knew of the area of Chowchilla and was appalled! I immediately hugged my tummy and prayed that this would turn out good for all the victims, and imagined myself in that situation. I'm so glad the children had a beautiful, loving adult with them, who not only didn't let them down, but saved their very lives. My sympathy to his family and close friends. He truly did God's command. He risked his own life and saved all the lives on that bus. God bless his memory.

Remember this story very well...finding the abandoned school bus and not knowing where the driver and the kids were was so frightening. He and the children were all heroes that day and thank God the kidnappers didn't separate them. My condolences to his family, may he Rest In Peace.
