As Freddie well knew, Dion & The Belmonts and The Belmonts were always, and still are, my all time favorite group. I'm naturally very sad to hear of his passing. I'll always remember and treasure the 1960's & 70's gigs on Staten Island at clubs like Crocitto's, The Mardi Gras, recording the shows for the group. Likewise, hanging out with Freddie and the Everly Bros. at the NYU concert in '69, and most importantly, being one of the very few invited by him to be backstage for both Dion & The Belmonts reunion concerts at Madison Square Garden (1972) and the Nassau Coliseum in 1973. Also, will remember the silly rock 'n roll quizes we used to give each other, and how well he surprisingly knew the National Football League.

Freddie, you will be missed!

Your loyal fan...
