Dear Coach,
You will be greatly missed, our friendship has spanned for many years and you have been the kindest and most generous man and friend anyone could ever have. I have learned so much from you and your patient guidance. You were
blessed with an Angel,"Dee" and you knew it, she is an amazing woman and loved you dearly. I want to say what an honor it was to have known you and called you friend, Coach, We love you.
We will have your family in our prayers.

My deepest sympathy to the Solomon Family. I did not know him personally but I was proud to know a young black male from Sumter, SC had made it to professional football and was doing well. I was from Mayesville, SC and it made me proud to say he was from Sumter and and how proud and historic for him to make it in the profession.

Dee, he was one of God's Angels. I had the privilage of meeting him during his recruiting trip from Sumter with his good friend Frank Smalls. Coaches gave me some money to take them out to lunch at Shea & Prange across the street. After a $15 meal I believe he was sold on UT. Best investment the University of Tampa ever made. Loved the guy and I'll all of us who knew Freddie will miss him. Dave Tomeo
