What a loss! George was a great American and spent his entire adult life serving this nation -- a career protecting liberty in uniform, and a second career serving those who have served. I will miss him more than you can imagine.

LTC Richon was a Officer and a Gentlemen and a GOOD Guy that will be missed.
I had the pleasure of working with George at the National Cemetery Administration. As a new addition to the agency, George took an interest in welcoming me to the team and invested a lot of his time in helping me with my work. His passion for helping veterans and their families inspired me and I am honored that I had the opportunity to work with him. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
George was a wonderful friend and co-worker. He always brought a smile to our faces. He will be greatly missed! Our prayers and thoughts are with you always.

George was a great guy. I will miss him.
We enjoyed getting to know George and Linda through our SIGNA group. His friendship and willingness to help others was very evident. The service he rendered to our country was outstanding and his active work with Legion Post 171 demonstrated his commitment to the military. We shall miss him and extend our deepest sympathy to the family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Words cannot express the sadness that is felt when you lose a dear friend and co-worker. George was a man with passion for life, dedication to his work, and kind to all. He would help anyone that would contact him, always taking time to share his knowledge and that strict attention to detail he had. He'd greet you with a smile and a cheerful hello and was just a great person. We consider ourselves very fortunate and better people because we were blessed to have crossed paths with you George. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May the wonderful and happy memories of George bring a smile to your face and may God comfort you and bring you strength. You are truly missed dear friend.
