The holy spirit has led me to this site
unexpectedly! I worked for the Berberian Bros. in the 1980's and I didn't know about Richard's passing back in 2013. I remember Richard as always smiling! It was a blessing to have worked for him. Best regards & memories to his family.

You are missed
July 11, 2013
In 1949, my Father took me to the Berberian warehouse to pick up some liquor, your Father and Uncle came down the stairs to
greet my Father, and me. Remembering to this day what nice men they were to my Father and me. Then in 1962, through the doors, in our bar in Reedley you came Richard , introducing yourself, and at that moment it took me back to the moment when I met your Father. Richard you were a chip off the old block. You were so nice to all. Richard, we visited a long time, and I felt guilty knowing you had to make many other visits of your customers. Yet you took the time. Through the many years that passed both you and your Brother Mike have always been a complete exemplary of what all human beings should be. Richard, you will be sincerely missed by all who have known you. Your Father would be very, very, very, proud of you !!!!
I feel very proud to have known you, Richard. Bless you !!!

Our community is poorer without Richard, but his life has enriched everyone of us. We could pay him no higher honor than to try to affect the lives of others and to care about others, in much the same way he has touched us.

I met Richard at the gym about 3-4 years ago. He was a very kind man and an inspiration for my own workout. He gave me honey every year and I gave him homemade pumpkin bread, which he always raved about. We had many great conversations about our shared belief in the Great Redeemer. He was a fellow Pit Bull breed advocate and animal lover. He spoke often of his family. I will miss his smile and his positive attitude. My prayers are with his family for healing and peaceful hearts.

Richard was the father of my long-time friend, Erin and a friend of my father, Jack. He was always friendly and kind and I have fond memories of going to their home as a child. My prayers are with his daughter, Erin, his wife Barbara, and his son Joe and their families

When I worked out at Sierra Sport, I would see Richard every day and every day he greeted me with a warm smile. He and his brother Michael were so kind to me when my dad died. I will keep the Berberian family in my prayers.

When I worked at Sierra Sport and Racquet Club Richard would always come in with a huge smile and make your day. He was such a friendly guy and we will all dearly miss him at the gym...

I was so saddened upon hearing of Richard's passing. He was truly one of the most kind and gentle man I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I first met Richard at the gym several years ago. On one of our many conversations, we discussed oranges, various varieties, etc. Soon after our conversation, he brought me a seedling. It now every year produces wonderful oranges and remains a tribute to our wonderful friendship. Richard will be truly missed by all that knew him. He was a true gentleman.
