Braddy was one of a kind and a real gem. He will be sorely missed.

The ball was hit at least 50 feet over my head in right field. I picked up the ball and Eddie said "Peppy, toss me the ball." I did and he threw out the runner at home. I was 8 years old. My first day at FLHS, he said "Hi Peppy." I'll never forget the feeling of acceptance! Phil (Peppy) Pickett

My high school hero. Thanks for taking the time to acknowledge and talk to a 15 year old sophomore teammate off the baseball field.

Our prayers are with the Braddy Family. Though I was not able to keep up a close relationship with Ed, our Little League and Flying L days are fresh in my mind. He was always enjoyable. The comments of those close to him are a wonderful legacy. May the Lord bless Ed's family and other friends with comfort and peace. Rev. and Mrs. Jim Bowen, Classes of 58 & 59 respectively. (John 3:1-18)

Our condolences to the Braddy family. All of you are in our prayers. I knew Ed growing up in Ft. Lauderdale. I worked for his father's grocery store in wilton Manors, when I was in my early teens. I will always remember Ed as a wonderful person. We were connected by his cousin John Smiley married to my wife Angela's cousin Ginger. We would always talk about "Cousin John". We will meet again forever. Jim and Angela Moesly
