My family became very good friends with Libby and her family when we lived in Gainesville in the late '60s. My father Red Mansir, and my mom Polly kept in touch through the years and always cherished their friendship. My dad passed away in January 2008, but Polly continued to keep in touch with Libby via an occasional card or phone call, either from or to Libby. She just learned of Libby's passing and was very saddened by it. Although they hadn't been in touch recently, Polly spoke of Libby often, wondering how she was doing, etc. My own recollection of Libby was of a very gentle and caring soul. Our condolences and prayers are with her, Ernie, and the entire St. Jacques family.

So sorry for your loss, Libby's family. I have great memories of Libby from our time together at Finley. May she rest in peace in God's care. Sending special condolences to Aleta, a friend from karate.

She will be missed so much. Always so interested in our lives. She was such an encouragement to me and let me know she missed me when I was gone. When I got a chance to sit next to her on Wednesday nights, she held my hand the entire service. I will always be looking for her but so glad that I'll see that big smile again some day.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was a wonderful woman. I enjoyed getting to visit with her when we were in college. She was no nonsense and would tell it like it is! She will be missed. But, we will see her again! Praying with love for you all.
