What a wonderful, beautiful, loving life story. You can tell that Ms. Garcia was loved by so many. I did not know her but want to share a comforting message to all those who did in hopes that it will help a little during this time of sorrow and pain.

Life, like a mist, appears for just a day,
Then disappears tomorrow.
All that we are can quickly fade away,
Replaced with tears and sorrow.
If a man should die, can he live again?
Hear the promise God has made:

Friends of our God, though they may pass away,
Will never be forsaken.
All those asleep who in God's memory stay,
From death he will awaken.
Then we'll come to see all that life can be:
Paradise eternally.

He will call; The dead will answer.
They shall live at his command.
For he will have a longing
For the work of his own hand.
So have faith, and do not wonder,
For our God can make us stand.
And we shall live forever,
As the work of his own hand.

I extend my most sincere condolences to Florence Ann's family. I knew her very well from early times. Her family and mine were very close. They would often hunt, fish, and camp out with other very close families. I am so very sorry that I didn't keep in touch these past years. It has always been "Mañana" for me, and now, I am so sorry I did not even attend her wake, but, thank God, her many very close friends did. Her name brings back so many very pleasant memories. She was my very first date to a social, my eighth grade banquet and party. Lovely girl!

Early in life, Florence Ann must have read William James: "Believe that life is worth living and your belief will help create the fact."

Florence Ann certainly made life worth living for herself and for all those whose life she touched.

How blessed we are to have such lovely memories of her. How blessed she is to now rest in peace.
