Glenda was a friend of mine that I've only gotten to know over the last 5 years. I am missing you right now as I remember one of the last times I talked with you on the porch swing next to the "shack." I know you are sitting beside the Father right now. Give Him a big hug and kiss and tell Him it's from Minnie!
Mrs Glenda Kelley was one of the most wonderful people in this world and now I know she is with the LORD! She did teach at Bronson High School also, because, she was my teacher. I like many others loved her very much! She was a special person that treated everyone special! I remember doing M*A*S*H and boy did we ever have fun!! As far as high school is concerned she was one of the best ever teachers that I had. May GOD bless you Mr Kelley & family. She praised you so often Mr. Kelley and loved her family life! I was not surprised when she agreed to come back to our 10 year class reunion. She was an inspiration and will be missed. However, I know GOD and plan to one day see her again! GOD bless you all.
There are people we lose, and only then do we realize how much they meant to us. I could not put Ms. Kelly in that category, as I felt her impact on my life daily. She taught me many things, but the most important thing she taught me, and I'm sure if you're reading this she took the time to let you in on it too, was how to treat people. Not everyone will live up to your expectations, but Ms. Kelly still expected a lot, and tried to help people live up to their full potential. She was the best intellectual cheerleader I ever had. I try to that I do that for my students, friends, family, myself....and when it is difficult to do I think of her beautiful smile and push through.
Your kind words and actions will never be forgotten. You had a positive impact on so many lives. To the family, may God continue to comfort you during this difficult time. Continue to look to Him for strength and understanding! God Bless!
To the Kelley family,
I was deeply saddened when I found out that Mrs. Kelley had passed away. She was a wonderful and kind woman. I will never forget her. She taught me many things in the two years that I had with her at Newberry High. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Kelley family. God Bless.
Mrs. Kelley was a wonderful teacher and will be sorely missed at Newberry High School. She impacted many people, including me as an English teacher and yearbook editor.
Mrs. Kelley I regret not spending more time with you these last few years as my busy days of raising kids and work got in the way. I am glad that we had some time together these past 6 months. YOU were a big part of my childhood, me and P, and all our friends were like a big family. Beach vacations, New Orleans, it didn't matter you wanted to have fun with your kids. Thank you for everything, from all your support as a young child through my trying teenage years. The hurt we feel from not having you here with us is very deep but we are rejoicing for you. Rest in our savior's arms and sing loud in Heaven so we can hear you down here! Until we meet again.
She was the sweetest lady I ever met always smiling and always as sweet as could be god got a very awsome lady who I know made her family very proud she is gonna be greatly missed
Mrs. Kelley was indeed one of my favorite teachers! She was so full of dignity and grace, but I loved her spunky side! I will never forget the impact she made on my life!! Loved her bunches!!!
Glenda, my friend, my sister in Christ, you are singing with the choirs in heaven. I'm so selfish for wanting you back here with us… You are so missed, so loved by everyone. I will never forget the joy and laughter I felt, every time I was with you. Your infectious laugh and humor is what I hear when I think of you. You were a great teacher and a wonderful role model to thousands of students. Your legacy will live on through your beautiful children. What a Christian example you were for all of us.
I love you and will meet you again in heaven.
I am deeply saddened that we have lost such an amazing woman of faith, mother, and teacher. As her student, she had a way of making me feel comfortable to tell her anything and everything. More importantly, she actually cared. Heaven received a beautiful angel when she left us to be with Jesus. I will never forget your beautiful smile and the joy you brought to everyone you touched. Thank you for everything you did for me and the thousands of students whose lives you've impacted.

To the family of Glenda, What a lady she was and a friend to my late brother and former HS class mate Chuck Roland. She will be sorely missed. Cathy Roland Cole.
I never met Mrs Kelley, but I have the pleasure of knowing her beautiful daughter Deidre. One of the most beautiful personalities, she is a testament to her mom. Rest in peace Mrs Kelley, your legacy lives on. ShirleyGSteverson.
You don't know me, but I want you to know the impact your mom made on my life. She taught English at Bronson High School and I was blessed to be in her classes. She was so much more than a teacher, she was a friend. I confided in her when I was 16 and found out I was pregnant, she was so supportive. I have thought of her during the years and often wished I could tell her that I am still married to the same guy from high school and that we have 4 children and 9 grandchildren and we are serving God as a pastor's family.
Your mom touched so many lives and she will be greatly missed.
God Bless you all.
In Christ's love,
This battle is not yours, If you don't understand, Know that you have been set up by God to be blessed. Understand that it has to work this way. Understand that God knows everything before you really need it.
The days of our years are three scores years and ten, and if by reason of strength they be four score years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; For it is soon cut off, and we fly away
Deidra, Kristen, and family, I was saddened to hear of your moms passing. Even though she was fighting her battle with cancer, her spirit was always so positive. I last talked to her while she was in the hospital and she was still very positive and upbeat through all her pain and suffering. She will be greatly missed. She inspired and touched many lives. May you find comfort from memories you all have made. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless. Love, mandy
What a great person and teacher to our children. I have articles from the little sale house she had in newberry. Loved talking to her and visiting with her. Tell my parents hello and I know they love you too already. Family you should be so loved by all of us who ever were in her presence.
Mrs. Kelley will surely be missed. She was an amazing teacher and a wonderful person to talk to if you were ever down and just needed a listening ear... :) She will live on in the hearts of many!
Glenda was such a genuine person. She was always the same and so easy to talk to and to love. She will remembered and missed by anyone who had the previledge to know her. The Newberry community has lost a very special lady and Heaven has gained another angel. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
Mrs. Kelley was a great teacher and educator who touched the lives of many students. She was so nice and really cared about her students. There will be no other like her, she was a true "legacy".
Mrs. Kelley was my teacher and drama club sponsor at NHS. She will be deeply missed here on Earth, but I bet there was great rejoicing and partying up in Heaven when she arrived! Mrs. Kelley taught me at Bronson High. She was truly one of the favorite teachers! We were all sad when she left to teach elsewhere. She cared for all her students whether they were gifted or struggling with academics. I haven't seen her in over thirty years, but she was never forgotten by us at BHS. God has called back a earthly angel to sit next to him. We miss you Mrs. Kelley!
