I am so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. I grew up playing with my cousins in the Plant City area when you were visiting. I wish we could keep in touch again. It has been hard to
locate you but hope to hear from you. Love, Betty Dean Maxwell( on FB)
We all loved her and the way she could organize the family! She's in a lovely place now. Please wish her only sibling, my mother Panky, the best while she's still here with us. Plant City is missing another cheerleader! Cheryl, Mel, Steve, and Terri--love to you all and the extended families, Horst
I had the honor of knowing Dodo, her sister Panky introduced us a couple of years ago, from our very first meeting Dodo made me feel like we were friends forever. Her warmth and compassion will truly be missed. Watching her interact with her sister was always fun and filled with plenty of laughter, when they got together it was like being at the comedy club. She was blessed with a loving family and many, many friends and she will be missed by all.
Cheryl,Mel,Steve and Terri. Your mom who we affectionally knew as Dodo. She was a young mother of four. Her home was beautifully appointed, dinner was cooking and she was dressed and ready to greet your dad from the office at 5:30. she seemed to have time for everything. She played with you kids, helped me with homework and planned a field trip with ease. Dodo never seemed to loose her cheerleader figure, enthusiasm or youthfulness. She was equally effective in the business world. She was a class act. Dodo was a loyal and deeply loved friend to my entire family.
Cheryl, Melanie, Steve and Family,
It has been a lot of years since I used to hang out at your house growing up. Both your Mom and Dad were great. We would be there playing and your Mom would be so nice and always ask me to stay for lunch. She was also our team Mom when your Dad coached us to the City Champs in Little League! My prayers are with you at this time.
So sorry for loss Steve and Kendra. May God comfort you at this time...
We have known and loved Gloria for over seventy years, dating from our time in Plant City. Of course, we all called her and knew her as Dodo, and we will miss you Dodo. Our best wishes go out to your family.
