I am so thankful for the little time I was able to spend with Mrs Helen such a beautiful amazing person. I had the pleasure of taking care of Mrs Helen for a few days and she changed my life. Three Kisses!!!!!!
Hellen was an amazing woman who lived an impressive life. Our hearts go out to Ralph and Rob and Cathy and all who loved Hellen during this powerful time of loss. David & Julie
I am so sad to just learn of Helen's passing. She and I worked together at Haven Hospice while I was the volunteer coordinator at Gainesville. Her beautiful smile and dry sense of humor kept me laughing all day. Many times I would say something she felt strongly about just to hear her "tell me" just what she thought. I'm 5' and many times we would laugh about her being the only person there shorter than me, but I always assured her that I would catch up with her as the years go by. Many days we hugged and spoke of patients. I am at a loss for words to tell you how much I will miss her. She was a wonderful person, great mentor, good friend and now she is in Heaven. Goodbye sweet Helen.... someday I will see you again.
Helen will be missed, and after the pain of loss fades, the good of her being in our lives will remain...life is merciful that way...
I didn't know Helen well, but I know her son. And that is enough for me to know that she and Ralph were great parents and great people. She will be missed.
Rob– Our sincerest condolences to you, Cathy, and your entire family on the passing of your Mom. What an accomplished woman. And what a special Mom to raise such a mensch.
I enjoyed every moment I spent with Mrs. Rothschild. She was very friendly, outgoing, and loving. She was an energetic volunteer and always brought an array of sunshine with her when she arrived for her volunteer service as a reader at WUFT-FM. I've never, ever forgotten her. My love to Ralph and the family.

Dear Rob, Cathy, and Ralph,
We are so sorry to hear of Helen's passing. Though I did not know Helen well, the times I did encounter her were memorable.
Helen had a quick with and incisive mind, as well as being kind and concerned for individuals and her community.
She will be missed.
I cherish the memories of visiting Helen and Ralph in New Jersey with my grandparents, Anna and Benjamin Terens. And, then to "rediscover" them, over 40 years later in Gainesville, when they graciously attended my aunt's funeral.
Ralph, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Your contribution to the Institute for Learning in Retirement at Oak Hammock at the University of Florida is part of our permanent history and memory. Peace.
Your smiling face and warm presence will always be a part of those who love you.
Helen had a long and vibrant life and left us surrounded by family. In the short run that's not much comfort, but with time her presence and contribution to the lives of friends, family, and strangers will be honored and treasured.
May the love of God surround you during this time of sorrow at the loss of your dear Helen.
