I am so sorry to learn of Jackie's death. I extend my condolences to her family and loved ones.

Way too soon! We will miss you Jackie! All the memories, the Senior Prom, the trip to the Bahama's, other adventures/parties at the guest house. You are the definition of a true and dear friend. Rest In Peace. Stay strong Marianne and Tommy!
Words never adequately express the shock and sorrow at the loss of such a dear friend. Jackie epitomized the phrase, " joie de vivre." She enjoyed all the things that make life worth living: traveling, cooking, and learning. She was a dedicated attorney, an unflagging community supporter, and a loyal friend. Our sorrow, now, is the price we must pay for all those years of love and laughter.
I first met Jackie while I was in law school and would run in to her from time to time. What I remember most is her wonderful sense of humor.
She will be missed.
I first met Jackie with a travel group to Europe a few years ago. She added immensely to the fun and full enjoyment of the trip with her knowledge of food and wine. That trip and subsequent social gatherings will endear this outstanding person within me for a long time. Her loss is a heavy one to her family but also to our state bar and for the many friends she made throughout her adopted state of South Carolina
I had the honor of being Jackie's neighbor many years ago. She was always kind and generous! She always had a smile for you and a kind word! She will be missed!
We were great friends in law school and I was shocked to hear of her death. Please accept my condolences on your loss. Pat Anderson
Jackie and I graduated from nursery school together, and she has been my dearest friend ever since. I cannot express my level of grief at her sudden passing. At the same time, I will always be grateful for her friendship and that part of life that we shared. I will miss her beyond measure.
Jackie was a competitor in our youth. She was a close friend in the late 70's early 80's and one summer camp that we worked together my best buddy. I admired her drive.
Jackie has been a close family friend for 30 years and is someone who will be sorely missed. She attended law school with Brad and has remained a close friend ever since. She had an exuberance for life and a very generous spirit. Our love and prayers go out to her family and close friends and her memory will stay with us forever.
I met Jackie in 1998 on the Board of Historic Columbia Foundation. 4 years ago we re-met and became fast friends. I have lost a close friend who joined me, challenged me and kept me laughing and thinking. Jackie will be missed more than I can say! Great obituary! She did leave us too soon!!
I worked with Jackie on the SC Bar Fee Disputes Board and also knew her through her other community activities. She was an insightful lawyer and was dedicated to the community good. We will miss her. My condolences to family and friends.
To Marianne and Tom:
Please accept my sincerest sympathies for the loss of your beloved sister, Jacquelyn. I remember all of you coming to St. Patrick's,Gainesville, for Mass. Your mother was director of the choir at the day of my ordination. I have fond memories of the whole family. I know St. Joseph's in Columbia very well. Your sister has left a tremendous legacy of service to her family and to her community of Columbia. God bless her! Requiescat in pace!
I am so sorry for the families many recent loses. It must be overwhelming to have lost Jacquelyn also. My heart aches for Tom and Marianne and I pray they can be strong.
I am so sorry for your tragic loss. Jackie was so kind to me. I am saddened by her untimely death and will miss seeing her occasionally as I did over the past 20 years.
Jackie was one of the first volunteers for the SC Bar Pro Bono program, and I will always remember her for her pro bono work for the less fortunate and especially for her community service.
To the Bartly family
It is with great sadness to hear of your loss may the God of all comfort be with your family
Although we knew Jackie for a brief time, we became instant friends. She was an inspriration and a great help to us during a sad time in our lives. With love, we hope she is at peace.
