Sorry to hear about uncle Joe's passing.I did'nt know him that well but I do remember him when I was a child.Allbritton's cafeteria years ago in Houston.We had also connected in the early 90's .
We were saddened to hear of Mr. Allbritton's passing, but know he is in our Heavenly Father's enduring care. We have many wonderful memories of him and our many years in his employ. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Robert, Elena, Alex and Katie during this difficult time.

Having worked for Joe Allbritton for years we would like people to know he gave us the freedom to do different things in Television. He not only signed the checks he cared about the kind of product tand creativity that went over his airwaves.
Holly and I thank Joe for including us in his vision of TV land.

Mr. Allbritton was a member of the Class of 1942 of Sam Houston High School in Houston, Texas ... the school was then located in downtown Houston but is now located at Irvington Blvd. & Tidwell Road ...
He was recognized as one of the outstanding graduate when the school's historical marker was dedication a few years ago ...

I was saddened to hear of the passing of your father. Please share my condolences with your mother. Your father was very kind to me each and every time I had the pleasure of his company. He was a brilliant American entrepreneur and his purchase of KATV was the best thing that every happened to us.
