To my friend of over 50 years. You taught me how to fish and many other things. Always there when I needed you. You, Mary Kay, Paige and Tommy have been a part of our whole family forever. The memories go on and on. I will miss you more than words can say. Mary Kay, Paige, and Lil Tommy, you'll always be special to me and I'm there if you need me. Love, Louie
He was always a joy to be around. I enjoyed our conversations and his helpful advice during my many trips to the Gainesville Hughes branch.
Prayers and love to a beautiful family, in the "Homegoing"of our precious friend and Christian brother, Tommie. May our Lord comfort and give peace to your hearts. So thankful we learned to love and appreciate you, in Waldo.
i have so many good memories of Tommy from back in the day when i was a teenager in Waldo. as usual, when separated by time and distance we too often don't see one another but i am grateful for the few times we renewed acquaintance over the years. may God bless the family at this time . . .
Mary Kay and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I want you to know that I learned a lot from Tommy over the years. He was true to his beliefs and demonstrated a certain calm and character in every situation. I am proud to say that I looked up to him with a great deal of respect.

Mary Kay, I am so sorry for you & your family. I remember the days Tommy worked with my Dad and Bill too. I pray the memories you & Tommy shared will help you through the difficult times. May The Lord give you the Peace that only He can give.
Tommy was very dear to us and we truly missed he and Mary Kay when they moved from accross the street from us. My whole family is very fond of the Darus family and the loss of Tommy will be felt by us all.
We loved Tommy dearly and our heart and prayers go out to Mary Kay, Paige and Tommy.

TJ, you will be so missed by me & all of your "Tailgator" friends. The good times we shared in the mountains & on gator trips will always be in our hearts. I know you will be up there watching over us, "friend."
I met Mr. & Mrs. Darus only once but in the few minutes I chatted with Mr. Darus, it was apparent that his primary love and the focus of his live was family. Because he knew I had been a co-worker of Tommy's he spoke of how proud he was of this son and of his grandson, Jared. I was thinking the whole time of how much Tommy and Jared, indeed the entire family, must love this gentleman back and be so proud to call him Dad & Grandpa. Seldom do such brief encounters create as complete a picture as this...Mr. Darus had an open heart and now I hope the peace he has found will be bestowed on his family & friends.
So sorry for your loss. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
So sorry, he was a good man and I know that God has a special place for him
You only recently came into my life. Dovie and I were delighted to meet you and Mary Kay. Quickly we all became friends. And better friends, We could not find.
You were fine southern gentlemen and you treated all you came in contact with great respect. You were a good husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. You helped feed the elderly and the poor thru the church you loved.
Mary Kay was your true love but you also dearly loved your sisters, children and most of all your grandchildren.
You loved your country and you served it well while in the Air Force. You were a great American and You were a devoted Gator fan.
You have departed from this world and We will always miss you. Your quick smile and infectious laugh will still be with us. We will always have fond memories. God speed Thomas Jasper Darus!
