So sad to hear this, one of the finest men I have ever known.

Heart felt condolences

Many fond memories of Jim who worked with my father (Charlie Lane) for many years. He always treated me with dignity and professionalism. I will never forget his smile and laugh. Chip Lane

Prayers for Phyllis and all the family. We shared some good times, and now those memories are extra special.

The first and foremost thing I can say about Jim is that he was a strong warrior for JESUS. Whenever Jim and I would sit together at family gatherings, he would always mention the importance of knowing the Lord and living a Right Life. Jim would talk about the importance of young people knowing right from wrong and the need for them to seek out the wisdom of older, wiser Christian believers. He was not ashamed of Jesus and I loved him for his strong faith.
Jim was a jack of all trades from building airplane motors, flying planes, to building beautiful houses; he was a perfectionist with a passion for the game of golf. Although he was a big, strong man, he had a gentle and honest way about him with a bent towards patience and wisdom. Jim loved all his children and grandchildren and would speak fondly of them all the time.
Lastly, I want to acknowledge Phyllis and all family members who loved this special man. May God give you peace in your hearts and the knowledge that one day soon you too will be with him again.
My wife and I sincerely love this man.
