Gainesville - Janet Christine Logan, 82, of Gainesville, FL, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014 at ET York Hospice Care Center in Gainesville. Janet was born in Elyria, OH to Philip Vernon and Nell Elizabeth Boylan in 1932. Janet was raised in Fulton, NY and in 1949 enrolled in Marywood College in Scranton, PA. She graduated Michigan State in 1953, and began teaching in Battle Creek, MI., where she married her late husband Charles Whittington Logan. In 1967 they moved to Apopka, FL where Janet was a substitute teacher and homemaker to her family. In 1995, she moved to Gainesville, FL and has been here under the care of her son ever since.
Janet is survived by her son Charles Logan of Gainesville. She was predeceased by her husband Chuck, and brothers Phillip, Tom, and Frank.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, March 19 at 9:30 am at Holy Faith Catholic Church in Gainesville. Burial will follow at Forest Meadows Central.

Mrs. Logan was a pleasure to serve and care for. I was so sad to hear of her passing but take solace in her being in the loving embrace of our Lord. Her love for her husband and son was her lifes treasure. My condolences, Stephanie LPN
