Nancy, I'm sorry I didn't realize that Bill had passed away in April. I happened to see his Obituary online when I was attempting to look up your address to send you a Christmas card. I'm so sorry for your loss. I think of you often although I haven't been in touch. I remember the handcrafted wooden gifts Bill made which you gave to me as Christmas gifts when we worked together at CMHU. I still have them. I will display the pretty wooden Angel. I didn't really know Bill but he seemed to be a very kind and gentle man. I know that he loved and adored you and that you made each other very happy. I will call you. I hope you are at the same number. Take care. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

His quiet strength spoke volumes. The thing that stands out so clear to me are the Disney characters he painted on the wall going upstairs. I never missed a day looking at them when I was there. He also made a hope chest for me. I caught my first fish (catfish) in the pond on the property he shared with my grandma at the age of approximately 11. He was much more than just an uncle... and he will be missed very much.

He always had such a strong, peaceful presence.
Much love to Nancy and his family and friends.
