`My Brother & friend I can't seem to see you, not being around and talking on the phone. You were a real joy to talk with we both laugh like crazy on life's ordeals. I will miss you my pal .We served in NAM at different yrs but became friends later on You have a loving caring family that loves you forever. Iknow God took you and has plans for us all. You will most likly start a Heaven Garden and be smily down on us all . Well my brother the pain is gone and you can get your rest with the Lord .I will miss you and will never forget you Your memory will ever be in our minds and hearts
rest my brother

Daddy ~
I checked my mailbox yesterday and there was a letter sent from you... the last letter you will ever write me. You wrote about how happy you were that we were there to help you with your garden and how rewarding growing your own fresh vegetables can be. I will always cherish your advice, words of encouragement and the love you gave us. The last days I spent with you will always be remembered. You were so strong over the last two years. I can still hear you say, "nothing beats a failure like a try."
My only solace at this time is that you are no longer in pain and you are in heaven with the rest of the family. Thank you for all the laughter, joy and wisdom you shared with us. "The Fox" will miss you more than you'll ever know.

Dad,

I don't know HOW I am ever going to live without your daily talks on the phone, weekly hand written letters and amazing words of wisdom. From the time I was a little girl helping you in the garden we have always had a special bond. A piece of me went with you Sunday morning and I'll never forget you. I am glad to have had a chance to spend your final days with you making you comfortable and telling you I Love You. Give grandma and Ginger a hug for me. I will remember all of your advice and everything you taught me... Miss you so much dad... Come to me in my dreams the way you promised or in rainbows.

I knew Walter Weber during the hardest times of our lives. I recognized then what a great person he was and people like that never change. Walter Weber was not a former President, not a wealthy person, not a person of great power but He was an unsung hero and this man leaves a huge hole in this life that will not be filled by another. May God bless and comfort His loved ones and friends in their grief
