Our grandmother, Althea Brigman, was such a blessing to all of us. We have so many memories of her and its makes us smile every time we have gotten together this week and remembered each memory we have of her. I remember her taking me to get my ears pierced at 5 years old, I remember going shopping with her on several occassions as a child and it was always something I looked forward to. As she got older we would take her shopping at the mall in her wheelchair. She loved Kit Kats and I would always try to bring her one when I would come to visit and if I forgot she would not like it at all..she would always ask for them. Those last days of all of us gathering around her bed side as she took her last breath will be something I will never forget. She had so much love surrounding her that I know she left this world feeling more love than ever. She is in a better place now, I am thankful for the life she lived and the love she gave to all of us. For giving my sisters and I a handsome dad who I know, was at the gates of heaven waiting for her. For blessing us with a wonderful uncle, Richie, who through all of this has been here for all of us grandchildren and we will never forget that. He was a wonderful son to my grandmother and we are thankful to him. We love you grandma! You are home now! We will see you again!

Richie,
Aunt Althea was very special. I will always remember her as kind, fun loving and the best Aunt I could have ever had.
I have many, many great memories of her. She loved all her nieces and nephews and spent many fun times with us. You were born to her many years after most of us were grown-up so she was "ours" before she was "yours".
She never complained much about anything, accepting life however it came her way. She cared for her mother for many years without much help from anyone. She loved you and the rest of her family and always spoke proudly of you and them.
I hope that you find some comfort in knowing she is now with our loved ones who had passed away and she will be there waiting for us when our time here is over.
With love prayers to you and Jenny,
Debbie
