I am so very shocked to hear of Zelma's passing. I was googling the name and saw this online. I am so terribly sorry. Zelma purchased my yellow home in Oakdale many years ago and we became friends and talked and talked for hours. Then I remarried, got tons more grandchildren and unfortunately we lost touch. She was on my mind all morning and I wanted to call and hear her laugh. I guess I'll have to hear her in heaven one day as I'm sure that's where this sweet lady is now. To her children, I would like you to know that you are all she ever talked about. She was so proud of her family. I feel blessed to have known her and I will miss her calls and our conversations. God bless you all ~ Julie

Todd and Kristi you were everything to your Mother/Mother-in-law. You could hear the pride in her voice when she spoke of you. Have peace in knowing she is walking the streets of gold. Peace be with you and your family. I feel honored to be a part of the many friends and extended family she had.

Ms Zelma was a joy to know! Sadly it was through doctor's visits that I got to know her. Sometimes she would call just to talk. I will miss her, she always made ME laugh. Rest in peace,Zelma, you fought a hard battle. You were loved.
