I am truly saddened by Cynthia's departure. She was a special person with a BIG warm heart that reaches out to everyone. We will miss her.

I met her and her husband, Bob, when Bob was our Managing Director at Maxtor in Penang, Malaysia in the 80's. We lost contact when Bob returned to the US. I decided to Google to try to re-connect with the Brownes and stumbled upon this guest book.

Bob, I am truly sorry about your loss. If you are reading this posting and would like to re-connect, my email address is aloysius_cheang@hotmail.com

We were neighbors of Cynthia and Bob and their first six children (loved hearing about the birth of the 7th!) in Farmington Hills, Michigan from 1969 to 1972, when we moved to KY (we are now back in PA, our home state). Cynthia was the most open, welcoming person I ever met. All our children loved her. Thanks to all who signed this book--such wonderful memories. Love to all the family she left behind.

Cynthia was such a bright spark in the neighborhood. I always loved seeing her and hearing her voice. We will miss her warmth and kind heart. She was truly a joy to know. It will really be a different place there without her. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.
