"It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the prtestor to burn the flag."

Your son was fighting for those who do not yet have these priveleges but thanks to those courageous as himself... soon will.

Capt. Sizer and family,

I am terribly sorry for the loss of your son. The work he did and the sacrifice he made for his country are an inspiration to all of us; they will never be forgotten, and neither will he.

Capt. Sizer,

I am sorry for your loss, and I know that words cannot make up for it in any way. But your son died fighting for what was right, and I am humbled to serve in the same military that he did.

My brother is in Iraq and I can only say that your son is a hero. Because I know how proud I am of my brother and your son has given so much more. He's a hero, and that's how he should always be remembered.

Your son is a true hero. Words cannot express what his sacrifice means to the Academy, to the Air Force, and to our country. May God Bless you and your family in your time of healing.
