Please accept my deepest condolences. I know that nothing I say will fulfill the void of your son’s loss. May God’s peace be with him and also with you.

I cannot tell you how sorry I am for you and your family. Your son is truly a hero and I hope you can at least find comfort in that. I can't imagine how hard it must be for you and your family. May the Lord be with all of you.

Captain Sizer,
I really don't know what to say here, and feel that I don't have the eloquence to write the words that would be appropriate at such as time as this. I remember the day Dane got his drivers license, I remember his search to find a job so that he could fill the car with gas. I remember telling you how my mother was much like you, caring, a little overprotective, but never lacking the love a boy should have. Sitting next to him in class and speaking with him nonchallantly asking him about his desire to serve, I couldn't help but think how proud you must be to raise such a polite, courteous, smart, abitious young man. I, as well as my family, are praying for you continually.

Cpt Sizer,

Never has a loss been so close to home. No words can express your loss. May angels of peace find you.
