My deepest sympathies to to family of Mr. Huffman, a great teacher and counselor to many of us during those crazy teenaged years. He is now reunited with Jean and Rad. May he rest in peace.
He was such a kind man and was there for me throughout my struggles as a relocated troubled teen my junior and senior year at WPHS. Don't know how I could have gotten through those 2 years without him and Phyllis! God blessed him and his family with 97 years! My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and may he RIP!
Mr Hoffman was the greatest school counselor WP ever could have, he never judged just listened, and then phoned home to your parents,, hahaha but he was respected by so very many from those days, I graduated WP class of 76 Godsped Mr Hoffman I know the angels are with you now. Our prayers are with the family. Pam Hamilton/Carvill
Mr. Huffman was the school counselor during the years I attended high school in W.P. (69 - 73). I remember him fondly. I didn't get in trouble often but once he came to talk to me when trouble was brewing and he was kind and helpful. I am sure he will be missed by many. It sounds like he had a long, good life. My sympathies to his family.
Mr. Huffman was my neighbor in Woodland Park during the years I spent there and helped me through the tough loss of my father during my high school years. He even let me in the gym after hours:-) Great guy and he will be missed--he went the extra mile for me.
It was so wonderful to hear from Mr. Huffman when the Class of 1961, WPHS,had our reunion. He was a kind and gentle soul and will be remembered with love and respect. Our deepest sympathy, Robert and Ginger Woods
Dale and Family how great you must feel knowing your Dad is among Jesus and the Saints. As you know he is not Dead but lives in Glory. What a graduation gift.

He was a great teacher and I still hold onto something he said in class one time. He said if I believe and am wrong, what have I lost; but if I don't believe and am wrong, I lose everything. Nancy(Moreland)Moore class of 1968 Woodland Park High School
Dear 'Mr. Huffman'...(I know you would want to be called Dale, but that would be hard)...I have always loved you, one of my favorite teachers (Engligh, Speech, Choir)and my pastor for a while in the 1960's. Thank you for keeping in touch with our class of 1961...you were a treasure. So thankful you are now with your Savior and those loved ones gone before. I will never forget you.
